Bed Bug Killer

The Bed Bug is extremely hard to get rid of once they infest your home. They are small , less than 1/4″ and very skilled at hiding so for every one that you find there are probably dozens if not hundreds more that are hidden away. Bedbugs are highly resistant to normal pesticides and their eggs are even tougher to kill. Successful extermination requires a planned, organized approach over several weeks time. Even if you kill all the live bugs, their eggs will hatch up to two weeks later and reinfest your home after any pesticides you may have applied have dispersed.

Step One
Check around areas where people would normally sleep since the bug likes to feed in the early morning hours just before dawn. Once verified, these areas need to be decluttered to minimize hiding places. Then use a stiff brush to loosen eggs and thoroughly vacuum.

Step Two
To minimize the number of bugs coming from adjacent units you should seal any openings that would allow them to enter. Seal and treat around pipes, electrical outlets and heating ad cooling vents. Use a contact Pesticides that leaves a residue.

Step Three
Once you have de-cluttered, cleaned and sealed entry points wash bedding and any clothes in hot water and dry as hot as possible. Keep these away from the beds when you are done.

If you suspect that mattresses or pillows are infested use a mattress or pillow cover that is designed to seal in any bed bugs infestation. If you are applying pesticides yourself, make sure to carefully read and follow label instructions.

Finally
Make sure to keep checking for signs of an infestation and repeat the above steps as needed and you will keep your home Bed Bug free!
