For example a commercial building has a camera everywhere to protect and monitor every person who comes in and out of the building. Cameras are usually set in elevators not only for security but also for emergency reasons.
There are now also IP cameras wherein you can watch what is happening in your home or in a certain place where the camera is installed through the use of internet.
