Stone tiles are very porous and extremely durable, that being said, I wouldn’t recommend them for floors. They can be prone to having a lot of imperfections and dips which can collect grout and completely change the look of the original tile. They must be sealed multiple times to ensure they remain waterproof just like slate tiles, and are not exactly easy to clean, therefore they are found to be a high maintenance tile over due course of time.

Armstrong Blackwater Classics hardwood flooring is manufactured by adhering layers made up of laminate veneer and real wood. When creating each plank, around three to five different layers of engineered hardwood is layered in cross grain pattern and laminated and glued together in pressure and heat. Armstrong Blackwater Classics is very much durable. These engineered hardwood planks are in fact very much stable to withstand various moisture and humidity conditions as compared to any other normal wooden floorings. The main reason is because this type of wooden piles are in fact layered together above each other in a reverse direction. This counters in the normal contraction and expansion of the wood.
