Atlanta Georgia is known for a lot of things but lately huge storms and bad weather has been a big story down south. Located in the southern region of the United States this city, sometimes subject to tornadoes and thunderstorms, these storms usually happens in the early spring and summer months but over the last couple of years Atlanta has been hit very hard with huge storms. In March of 2008 a tornado touchdown right in the middle of downtown the very strong winds blew out the windows of some of the tallest buildings in the city and parts of the roof of the Georgia Dome was blown off by the storm.
