It will cost you much more but in the long run, your wooden shed will still be standing while most steel sheds have been eaten away by rust or some plastic sheds have become unsightly pieces of plastic sticking out like a sore thumb in the yard.
Outdoor wood sheds require more maintenance than plastic sheds, but not as much as steel sheds which demand more frequent repainting and anti-rust treatment. Wood sheds will need to be repainted after a couple of years and the wood treated to prevent rotting or becoming a den for termites and other forms of pest. Aside from those factors, you need not worry yourself about anything else when it comes to an outdoor wood shed.
As the years roll by, a properly maintained outdoor wood shed will look every inch just good as it did the day it was built even after it has weathered through several storms. For storage purposes, an outdoor wood shed is therefore an excellent investment.
